ENGH, JACK B., 89
Ocala - Jack B. Engh, 89, died July 13th, 2012 at the Oakhurst Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Ocala, Florida.
He was born March 11th, 1923 in Athens, Ohio. Jack graduated from Athens High School and joined the Marine Corps to serve his country during WWII. He earned a BA degree in Physical Education from Ohio University, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He taught physical education and coached football, basketball and baseball at Stanton High School in Ohio.
He was a Regional Sales Manager for Armour Meats. He retired from Anchor Hocking Glass Corp as an account executive. He was a member of the American Legion and Murat Temple, and was an avid golfer.
He married Grace Derrell Chism in November of 1952, and had four children, Jay, Jeff, Jonathan and Jacquelyn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace and son, Jonathan. He is survived by children, Jay (Carol) Engh, Jeff Engh, Jacquelyn (David) Albright; grandchildren, Amanda Engh, Darcy and Mike Jacobs, Bryan Engh, Jesse Engh, Julie Engh, Carly Albright, Austin Albright, and JJ Albright; and great-grandchildren, Ryken and Kalissa Jacobs.
There will be a memorial service on July 30th, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. at the Villas at Winding Ridge Clubhouse, 11586 Winding Wood Drive, Indianapolis, IN, 46235.
