It's been a year, my dear friend, and I'm still missing you so much. I went to Ocala earlier this month and I had dinner with Lloyd--it breaks my heart to see how much he misses you--not sure anyone in this world could love and miss you as much as he does--soul mates, best friends, partners, lovers, everything good together. Y'all were the best example of what marriage means--total dedication to each other. It was so strange being in your home and you not being there--there was an emptiness there that only you could fill. I know you are with God in heaven where we all hope to be someday--looking forward to seeing you again, sweet lady. Much love, MaryLouise

Oh my! I don't even know where to begin--when we moved to Ocala and I went to work at the Clerk's Office, she made me feel as though I had found family there. We had lunch together almost every day or we went "plundering" as she called it. She and Lloyd were like adopted parents to me and I think she was as concerned about Stacey, my daughter, as any friend could ever be. It was such fun to visit with them and their family because they were all so sweet and kind to us. I could write pages and pages singing their praises because she and Lloyd made such an impact on my life. Kindness, thoughtfulness, love for her precious Lloyd and their family was her goal in life. She loved her God and loved playing the piano in church. She found a place in anyone's heart that took the time to get to know her. She loved my family and we all loved her and hers. After we moved back to Louisiana, a trip to Florida was not complete unless we visited with them for even just a little while. Loved our phone conversations up until a few days before she left to go to her heavenly home. I will miss her so, so much. Lloyd and family will always be in my heart. I loved, loved that lady. May God bless and keep her family always in His care.

I'm so thankful that my sister married Bruce so many years ago and I was able to get to know his wonderful parents, Dorothy and Lloyd. We have had many pleasant family get togethers through the years and I will always cherish them. Dorothy was so kind and supportive of me when I went thru my knee replacement since she had already gone through it and we always had that connection. I will miss her. And those of us who had the intense pleasure of experiencing her Perfect Macaroni and Cheese will miss it as well! :-)

My Love and Prayers go out to Poppaw and the entire Monroe family. Nana was surely a wonderful lady and always welcomed me as if I were one of the grandkids. Her contagious smile will be greatly missed.

I met Ms Dorothy, as she worked with my mother at MCCH. She always had a song in her heart and a Love of her Family that shined bright.. She treated everyone she knew as family.. My heart goes out for Mr Lloyd and the rest of the Monroe family. She was a true Southern Lady. That will dearly be missed. Heaven received a sweet angel that will watch over her family, until they meet again

My Nanna banana was the most beautiful woman I have had the pleasure of knowing. Her outward beauty doesn't come close to the beauty of her soul. She has been the center of my family's world, the tie that binds. She is the most influential person in my life, and her guidance was something I have treasured. My greatest hope is to make her roud of the woman I will become. I can not imagine a day without being able to hear her voice, ask her advice. She is so greatly missed and loved beyond words.

I enjoyed meeting Dorthy and Lloyd and offering them my support. Her family gave her attentive and compassionate care. She had a song on her lips and I felt honored to sing with her.
