It's strange that my cousin James' homegoing is on my sister Jackie's birthday and nine months from her death, in time for a new birth of more love! I remember when James moved to Ohio - what excitement within the family and among friends. We enjoyed concerts and other events together at the Akron Civic and places in Canton and at graduation parties, etc. He carried himself very well and was very interesting to talk too. I will always remember our last conversation and I am really going to miss him and our outings with friends Barbara, Yalonda and Yvette. And, I know that God will keep his children, sister and nieces in His ever-loving arms. I love you all and I dedicated this past Gospel Meets Symphony concert to him and my sister Jackie. There will be a remembrance to them both each year.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
