Pamela Hass Obituary

Pamela L. Haas, 68, of Akron passed September 25, 2010.

Pam was born on March 19, 1942, in Fremont, Ohio to now deceased William and Eileen Forgerson.

She graduated from Fremont Ross High School, Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree and from Kent State University with a Master's Degree. Pam was a teacher at Nordonia City Schools, Manchester High School and librarian at Tallmadge Middle School. She retired in 2001.

Pamela is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Russell D.; daughters, Kimberly (Jim) Stadelman, and Kelly (Danny) Makar; grandsons, Jack and Jacob Stadelman, and Tristin and Dylan Makar all of Naperville, Illinois; sisters, Sue (Fred) Tolhurst and Robin (Tim) Pleta both of the greater Pittsburgh area; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 2nd, in the chapel at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect Street, Akron. A celebration of life service will follow in the church sanctuary at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Landis Coffman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of VNS, Akron or Pancreatic Cancer awareness, www. pancan.org.

Dear Russ, I was shocked to hear about Pam. It seemed that you had it all. It's been a long time since I've seen you two but, I think about you guys once in a while. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
