Though it has been many years since I have seen Bob, I am saddened to hear of his passing. My Father was good friends with his mom and dad from the "Rudy's Bakery" days and the various German clubs around Akron. My dad gave him the nickname "Satch" and he would accompany us on many fishing trips in and around Akron. The man had every type of fishing lure ever made and a great story to accompany them, a master fisherman. Though he was older than me, he always included me in the trips. I remember when he got out of the Navy, and his fondness for fast cars. The man loved life and his family, and I'm sure he will be missed by all. My sympathy to the family.

He was a Great man, who was full of live. He would always look at look at his wife and smile and you knew he loved her with everything he had. He loved his kids just as much. But when it came to his grand kids it was like new years everyday. He would always make a joke or just say one line to put a smile on your face. He could tell you stories from the days and you just wanted him to keep going. He loved to go to Daytona beach with his wife and kids and grandkids. Before Daytona it was Salt fork weekend get aways he called it. He would like to go out to Springfield lake to go feed the ducks and fish, but most of all just to look at the wild life out there. He will be missed and I will always love this man.

What a great man. Always would crack a joke and make you smile and always there if you needed something. He loved his kids and grandkids, and everytime he talked about them his face lite up. He liked his trips to Daytona beach and Salt Fork and just out to Springfield lake to feed the ducks. He loved to fish or say he fished but sat in is car and just looked at the wild life around him. He could tell you stories about being in the Navy and working on the belt in the coil mines and Goodrich and the bakery. He would never forget a face and it took a second for him to get the name of the person but he would get it. He was larger then life and he will be missed. God speed
