Tara Younce Obituary
STOW -- Tara L. Younce, 42, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017. Tara was born in Akron, Ohio and grew up in Stow where she graduated from Stow High School. She was employed by Anna Maria of Aurora. Spending time with her family and friends was among one of her favorite things to do. She was an avid animal lover and adored her two Golden Doodles, Duke and Daisy. Tara was loved by all who knew her. She had a magnetic personality and was known for her beautiful smile and quick sense of humor. In everything, Tara always radiated love for her family, friends and accepted everyone for who they were. Preceded in death by her father, George Younce and sister, Dana Younce-Willis, she is survived by her mother, Clara Younce; sisters, Gina (Rick) Eroskey and Lisa (Ernie) Haase, all of Stow; brother, George Lane (Terri) Younce of Powder Springs, Ga.; nieces, Morgan and Laci Younce; nephew, Christian Younce, and her dearly loved dogs, Duke and Daisy. Friends may call Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home, where Pastor Wesley Pritchard will conduct service Saturday, 11 a.m. Interment, Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow. It's the family's wish that memorial contributions be made to The Harry R. Horvitz Center for Palliative Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, P.O. Box 931517, Cleveland, Ohio 44193-1655.

Words can't express how sorry I feel about Tara having cancer. I know that she is with the Lord and that is a great comfort. May God give strength, Grace and Love as you go thru the days ahead. We also are grieving. We lost our 54 year old son with esophagel cancer in August. By the time they found it, it had spread to all of his organs and lymph nodes. We miss him terribly. My heart goes out to you all. Never have I ever witness a more loving family in gospel music. I often noticed George Younce sitting in the back before concerts and enjoying his girls so very much. Years ago, during an interview with Ernie, he shared how after the untimely death of Anthony Burger on board a ship, Bill gathered all the team together and reminded them that this was a time where they either believed what they sang about, God, heaven, etc or not. They believed and the cruise continued to the glory of God. This is such a time. Tara is with God. Praise God.

Tara was such an amazing and sweet person. I can't believe she is gone. I haven't seen her in over 10 years but it still hurts like it was when we used to hangout when we were both married. The four of us had so many great times. She was so nice and treated her friends like family. She also loved Dogs more than anyone I know. She had an amazing singing voice that she got from her Dad, and would unleash when we were driving somewhere. And a hilarious wit she got from her Mom. There are people who impact your life when you know them and it doesn't matter how long it's been since you've seen them. I'm praying for her amazing family who I know will be ok, because they know Tara is with her Dad and sister Dana with the Lord, but they will be in my prayers. God Bless the whole Younce/Haase family. And all of the close friends she has, which is alot. She will be missed, that's for sure.
