TALLMADGE John W. Conrecode, Sr., 81, died August 11, 2009.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, he was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and retired from American Stone Mix after 30 years of service. He graduated from Ursiline High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. NAVY during World War II.
Preceded in death by his mother and father, Bessie and Edward Conrecode and brothers, James and Edward, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine Louise; sons, John, Jr. (Nancy), Thomas (Jackie), Robert (Alana) and Paul; daughter, Molly (Paul) Singer; 10 grandchildren; and sisters, Connie Burns, Jayne Pursiful and Theresa Nichols.
A memorial mass will be held Friday, 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.

John, Nancy and family - I'm very sorry for your loss. My own father passed away last September and I still recall what an emotional time it was.May God Bless you all in this difficult time.
