There is not a day that goes by that we do not think of you dad...It has been 5 months since you left us and the shock is still there, mourning a parent is the hardest thing to go through because part of who I am is no longer present.

In the short time I knew Ed, I found him to be a very nice & funny guy. He so reminded me of the guys from ZZ Top with his long beard! Dan and I will miss you Ed!! Guess we won't be opening that garage together...but I know God has a place for you up in heaven; You'll be the chief mechanic up there above.
To Joyce - I love you my sister; you are in my heart & my prayers. The Lord is walking right beside you giving you strength.
To Amy, Matt & Greg - please be there for each other; strength is in numbers. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. May you find comfort in the strength of the Lord. I will always be here for you all no matter what differences may happen.

Dear Joyce, Amy, Matt, Greg, and the entire family,

I am so sorry for the loss of a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, while love leaves a memory no one can steal. I pray as each day passes you are able deal with his absence a little be easier as time goes by. We both know that it is very hard to ever completely heal from a loss so "close" to...to your heart. Your lives are now changed, never to be the same. So hold tight to all the memories you have of times shared, from the shortest to the longest as each and every moment will sustain you all until you meet again. Please let us know if there is anything that you might need.

With All of our love and prayers,

Michelle and Marvin Bennett,
Nathaniel and Ethel J. Williams

For You Amy:
"If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,I'd walk right up to Heaven And bring you home again."
Love Always,
Michelle

The only memories I have of Ed are very fond ones. In life, he was an exceptional man. He always treated me with respect despite any issues I had with other members of his family.

Joyce, his wife, told me one day that she thought the best man in the family, was Roger - who passed too soon. I told her that she had the best man in the family. And still believe it to this day.

When I ran into Norma at JC's Place on Monday, I couldn't totally understand what she was trying to tell me only that there had been a death in her family.

In all of these years, I have known Ed - I never knew that he had been named after his dad. I always thought his name was Ed.

I know that Joyce, his wife, and his children, Amy, Greg, and Matt will undoubtedly miss his presence in their lives. I only pray that they will dwell on the good times plus the many adventures that they had with him. I know I will.
