Ruth Barnes Obituary
Beloved Wife, Mother, and Educator, Ruth (Yoder) Barnes died peacefully in her home in Wooster, Ohio on Friday, November 28, 2013, with her family by her side.
Ruth was born in Millersburg, Ohio on July 13, 1952, to the late Wilber and Laura (Miller) Yoder. Ruth taught enrichment classes, offered counseling and guidance to homeschoolers for over twenty years and dedicated her life to inspiring others to follow their passions. She lived each day with positive zeal and enthusiasm! On September 8, 2012 she married her life long true love David Barnes
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene and Don Yoder.
Ruth is survived by her husband, David; daughters, Kylia Radney of Cuyahoga Falls and Kari Radney of Wooster; stepdaughter, Kelly Barnes of Chicago; sister, Faun (Kue) Brand; and brother, Gary (Elizabeth) Yoder.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice (3743 Boettler Oaks Dr. Green, OH 44685). Ohio Cremation and Professional Services Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, 330-438-1745

I never met anyone who enjoyed & lived life more. Ruth inspired and encouraged me. Nothing was impossible to Ruth. Ruth was so very special and I will miss her greatly. Dave, Kylia & Kari I am sending you hugs of love and support.

Dear Kylia and family, my heart breaks for you. Your mother was a beautiful person who always had a smile on her face. She always made you feel special when you talked with her and always left you feeling good about yourself and the world. I am blessed to have known her. We will all miss her. My wish for you and your family is that you will always feel the love that surrounds you and know that she will always be with you.

She inspired so many others to teach a better way for a better world. Curiosity, wonder, exploration, participation and a hunger for learning with joy is the gift she left those who were graced with her presence in THIS world. May she drop us all some from the next. I was one of the lucky people to have enjoyed Ruth´s friendship. All those memories will never leave me. What a wonderful human being she was. She touched so many people in wonderful ways. She always had a smile on her face, no matter what. She always had the right word at the right time for everyone. We´ll miss you Ruth! May peace be with you girls: Kylia, Kari and know that you can always count on us. Receive all our love from Mexico.

I connected with Ruth only through email, but her inner beauty shone through so easily. Just by touching our lives lightly, she altered us. When I think of all the others who knew her well, I know the loss is surely deep. What a beautiful soul. I know that in time, your memories, relationships, and beliefs will bring you comfort in the days ahead as you live through this great and difficult change.
