GAIL EPHRAIM Obituary

October 8, 1968 - April 6, 2015 OKLAHOMA CITY Gail Sue Ephraim, life long Oklahoma City resident, died on April 6, 2015. Gail was born to Miriam and Stanley Ephraim, of blessed memory, on October 8, 1968. Gail is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jennifer Ephraim and her brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Christy Ephraim. Gail is also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Gail truly loved her family, friends, reality TV, OU football, karaoke and Thunder basketball. Gail Sue will be missed. She was the most kind, thoughtful, loving, funny, positive, happy soul. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary or holiday and her cards were joy filled. Gail loved life. While born with Cerebral Palsy, she never let her physical self get in the way of living her life the way she wanted to live it. Gail was an inspiration to us all. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Temple B'Nai Israel, 4901 N. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City, OK with burial at Temple B'Nai Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Temple B'Nai Israel will be appreciated.

Dear Mark, Todd and Family,
I honestly have never attended a sweeter service as Gail's was. I remember her as a small child coming in the bank to visit your Grandfather Vic. She was so full of life and energy and as cute as could be.
Our prayers are with you and your family as you feel the loss of Gail in the coming days.

To know Gail was to love her, but more important, it was to experience her never-failing cheerfulness and optimistic outlook on life. She made rainbows every day for all who came in contact with her. My special sympathies to her beloved family.

I was heartbroken to hear of Gail's passing. My upmost sympathy to the enitre family for the loss of such a wonderful person. To know Gail was to love her. She was always full of laughter, joy and love everytime she would come to shop with Jennifer and me at Regina's. The three of us had so much fun. I will miss Gail but I am so grateful she was part of my life. With all my love, Tammy McHenry

I was soooo sad to hear this news. I knew Gail from my Heritage Hall days, and was so lucky to have seen her at our last HH (class '81) reunion. While Gail was quite a bit younger than Class of '81, she was always so confident, friendly, in the know, and always had a huge smile to greet everyone. I always had a good warm laugh after an encounter with Gail. I am sure that friends and family in OKC and around the world will remember Gail fondly, she will be missed! My sincerest condolences to the Ephraim Family.

So deeply saddened by this. I knew her at Heritage Hall and maintaIned an online friendship after I moved away from OKC. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone and was such a joy to talk to.

I have known and loved Gail and her family since I can remember. Seeing her would always brighten my husband and my day. We are so sorry to hear of Gail's passing. As my husband, Craig just said, upon hearing the sad news, "the world is a less happy place without her in it." Many thoughts of love to the Ephraim family from Craig, Robin, and Wyatt Starke

I remember Gail inviting me to sit next to her for lunch on my first day at Heritage Hall. We were born on the same day, so always wished each other a happy day on Oct. 8. I only remember her with a smile and laughter on her face, despite all the challenges she faced in her life. Rest in peace, my friend.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Gail's passing. Gail was one of my students and I was her adviser at William Woods University. In spite of her physical condition, Gail's can do attitude, kind and generous heart were an inspiration to all of us; faculty and students alike. After graduation she kept in touch with my family and I and was always interested in what my wife Kathy and two children were doing. She was an inspiration and beautiful blessing to the Potter family.Heaven has received such a sweet, kind, loving spirit into its fold. Thank you Father God for sharing Gail with us for the time she was here on the Earth. May she find rest, comfort and peace!
