MARK MCCLEERY Obituary

April 2, 1959 - Dec 2, 2014 ARLINGTON, TX Mark Kevin McCleery, 55, of Arlington, TX, returned to our Lord December 2, 2014, following a short illness. He was born in Anthony, KS but grew up in Oklahoma, graduating from Deer Creek High School and The University of Oklahoma. Upon graduating, he enjoyed careers with Johnson Wax and Scholastic Book Fairs. During his life, he enjoyed fishing, golf and was an avid biker. In recent years, he enjoyed spending time with close friends as well as rekindling relationships with old friends. Mark was a generous supporter of religious and children's charities.Mark is survived by brothers, Jay Scott McCleery, Craig Lee McCleery, and Jeffrey Dale McCleery; and sister, Jill Paige Horswell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held at First Christian Church in Edmond, OK on Friday, January 16, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. A reception will be held at the Edmond American Legion Hall following the services. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations to Joel Osteen In-Touch Ministries.
