Sally Stephan Obituary
Sally was born on Sept. 23, 1948, in Olean, a daughter of Stanley E. and Norma Berwanger Stephan.
Sally being a lifelong resident of Olean, was a graduate of Olean High School Class of 1966, and was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church. Sally loved music, enjoyed being around people, her friends and family. Sally was a also proud of being recipient of a cornea transplant, sponsored by the Lions Club.
Sally is survived by her mother, Norma B. Stephan of Olean; three brothers, Frank E. (Mary) Stephen of Allegany, George A. (Denise Drummond) Stephen of Olean, and Joseph C. (Gwynneth) Stephen of Lima; a sister, Mary K. (Soren) Madsen of Brooklyn; and 10 nieces and nephews
Friends were received on Sunday (June 22, 2014), in the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, 646 E. State St., Olean. Funeral services will be held today, (June 23, 2014), beginning with a prayer service in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. followed by a concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. in St. Mary of the Angels Church. The Rev. David Tourville and The Rev. Gregory J. Dobson will concelebrate. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, NY.
