Mrs. Ursula was the most wonderful lady I have ever met. She became a grandmother to me and she always gave me the best advice. She never grew angry but always had love. She would love it when I would pull weeds for her. I remember the day I gave her a brown bear, she called it her hopie bear and always had it next to her in the living room. She loved the drawings and things we made for her, but hated it when you would spend money on her. Mrs. Ursula meant the world to me and I know that she is watching over me and my family. I love you.

I humbly apologize for missing the mark when trying to express how much Ms. Ursula meant to our family. Seven years ago, Mary and I met with both Mr. Henry and Ms. Ursula and right away I felt the goodness of their spirits. Since the Lord bestowed upon me the gift of discernment, I am uncomfortable around people, especially large groups; but I immediately took to Mr. Henry and Ms. Ursula without reservation and wanted to do anything they required assistance with whatever they asked. Mr Henry was playful and very protect of Ms. Ursula, they were completely in love with one another, making a great example of what a loving couple should be like. When Mr. Henry passed, I felt the hurt, pain and loss; Ms Ursula was going through even six months later when I returned from the desert. Before leaving for the desert, Mary and I gave our word (Because Mr. Henry asked) that we would care for Ms Ursula which was a priveledge and blessing to us. We learned so much from her, for me, the history and firsthand knowledge of Germany during a time of distress and the fortitude of a nation reborn from the ashes of conflict. I cherished the slide presentations and the stories Ms. Ursula shared with us...I will miss the slides most of all because they were created by her and it was beautiful work.
She was a mother to Mary and shared and taught so much to my beloved; how to grow plants, crochet, cook and so much more. We were honored to spend our holidays with her and she felt herself and important member of our family. She was, still is and always will be. When Ms Ursula was up for an excursion, we would take her to the base lake for a picnic consisting of her favorite fast food, (KFC) and then she took a nap in the back of the van that she and Mr. Henry traveled to so many U.S. and Canadian and Mexico destinations. Once she was well rested, we headed to the cemetary where we cleaned the stones, cut the grass, and changed out flowers and sat and talked to Mr. Henry...She loved him so much.
I was angry with the Lord for taking her and made it known to him; it wasn't until I left for work at 0500 the next morning that I realized the Lord was mourning as well. The dark clouds, heavy rain and long arcs and flashes of lightning made apparent the Lord's anguish that paralelled my own. Then I heard a voice within say, "It was time." I was not comforted, but later as the clouds broke up and parted, with the sun shining intensely bright, an image entered my mind of Ms. Ursula taking the hand of the Lord and with Mr. Henry holding the other, walked into eternity together; it was then that Mary called me to say Ms Ursula had passed. Both Mr. Henry and Ms. Ursula's memories are locked away in our hearts and we will continue to care for them while they sleep. Again my condolences for your loss, may the Lord bless and keep you and yours forever.

Ursula and Henry were the ideal couple. I remember growing up in Papillion with her cousin (my dad) John Letovsky and coming to the house at the lake. We had so much fun swimming there. We always looked forward to the next invitation to go. Ursula was such a talented individual with her jewelry that is many Omaha homes. She was an inspiration to many. She came to this country and made her own way. She attracted many friends because of her beaming personality. Her life really began when she met Henry. He was the love of her life and she has missed him so very much. You are now reunited with your true love and will live on in eternity. Rest well cousin. We love you and will miss you.

Your spirit lights my way. Your love makes me smile. I will miss you, but I know you will be with me in spirit forever.
