CHARLOTTE, N.C. >> Kelli Sue Putnam, 28, of Edgewater Drive, formerly of Hubbardsville, N.Y., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle.
She was born Dec. 16, 1987 in Hamilton, N.Y. a daughter of Alan D. and Amy L. (Harris) Putnam, and graduated from Hamilton High School. Kelli was a beautiful young woman, not just on the outside. She also had a wonderful, loving and infectious personality. She just spread so much joy and happiness throughout her family and made many close friends everywhere she went. If it was not her friends or family she was with, Kelli loved spending time with her pets; they meant the world to her. Kelli had worked as a waitress at Babe's Macaroni Grill & Bar, North Utica before moving to Boston, where she worked near Quincy Market at The Tap Trailhouse Restaurant and later relocating to Charlotte, N.C., where she worked as a waitress at Mac's Speed Shop.
Surviving is her soulmate, Bronsyn Stewart of Charlotte, N.C.; her parents, Amy and Donald Johnson and Alan Sr. and Mary Putnam all of Hubbardsvillle; her grandparents, Carl and Darlene Harris of Earlville, Helene Putnam of Brookfield, Faith and David Hubbard of Central Square; her sisters and brothers, Lisa Putnam and Rick Wolanski of Cassville, Jessica (Putnam) and Leo Jayson of Munnsville, Alea and James Floyd of Rochester, Darrick and Tamrin Wratten of Waterville, Alan Jr. and Brittney Putnam of Clinton; two step brothers, Malcom Johnson of Oxford and Matthew Johnson of Smyrna. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, including Jessica Ingalls and Bronsyn's family, Scott and Cyndi Stewart and Brynn Stewart, Charlotte, N.C. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Merle Putnam.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 at 4 p.m. from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, N.Y. 13346. Interment will be held in the spring at Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville, N.Y. Friends are invited and may call Saturday from 1-4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your precious daughter. I have not been able to get her beautiful face out of my mind since leaving the game last week and getting caught in the tragic of the accident. SUCH. I sat next to Bronsyn on his flight home from Kelli's funeral. Even to a stranger his love for Kelli was so evident. My thoughts are with Bronsyn and all of Kelli's family and friends.

So sorry for your loss. Although I did not have the honor of knowing Kelli personally, I work with Cyndi Stewart and I know from what I have been told that she was a beautiful person inside and out.
