Nancy, Barb, and Suzie,
I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. Gale Brannigan had sent me a message last week indicating that he was not doing well and apparently, he passed that same day. Your parents remain a huge part of my childhood and I will always remember them both fondly. I am so happy I was able to see him last year when visiting with Nancy....he was sharp as a tack then, remembering things that happened way back much better than I had. It really was a blessing that we had that visit. I will be thinking of all of you and will never forget your parents, your family, your house, or all of the wonderful childhood memories which come from my years spent next door to you. Peace.

I'm sorry for your loss Nancy, Suzie and Barb. I will remember Chuck for his ability to make me feel welcome, visible, and important. He was always smiling. I will never forget the 21-gun salute he gave my brother for his 30th birthday over on North Lake street. May he rest peacefully and reunite with Marian up past the skies in heaven.

Barb, Nancy and Susie - Wow! I guess I thought he was indestructible. I was at 405 on one of those first days of spring when your dad had to test the pool temperature. He was so blue when he came out of the pool! Good thing he had a great sense of humor, 'cause we were laughing so hard it was quite disresptful of an "Officer of the Elks". Well, now my Dad will have help organizing fund raisers in Heaven.
Take care of each other, and if you come "home" once in a while, we should catch up.
"May all the roads rise with him,
May the wind be forever at his back,
And may he sit at the side of the Lord
(and your mom) until you all meet again".
