Michael Tifft Obituary

CLOCKVILLE >> Michael Tifft, 60, of Cottons Road, died unexpectedly at home on Friday morning, Aug. 23, 2013.
He was born July 26, 1953 in Oneida, the son of Benjamin R. Sr. and Belva Anderson Tifft. Michael was a resident of the Clockville area for most his life and was a graduate of Canastota High School. He had worked in several capacities including 27 years with the Diemolding Corporation. Michael was a devoted husband and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing guitar, gardening, and tinkering with mechanical toys.
He married Deborah "Debbie" Keville on June 14, 1972. She died on Aug. 7, 2013.
He is survived by his sons Bradley M. and Joel M. Tifft; grandson, Joel Tifft Jr.; his father-in-law and wife, Damon "Smokey" and Diana Redilla Keville; brothers and sisters-in-law Steven F. (Shelly) Keville of Canastota, Pamela S. (Mark Paddock) Keville of Whitelaw, Audrey L. (James) Talley of Antoich, Tenn., and Joy A. Keville of Thonotasassa, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was predeceased by his sister Joan M. Boston; two brothers, Benjamin R.Tifft Jr. and Stephen Tifft; and two nephews Brian K. Boston and Dale M. Tifft.
Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
