Charles Ogletree Obituary

Charles Lynwood Ogletree, of Comer, born August 1, 1941, went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2014.
He was a native of Thomaston and the son of the late George and Margaret Ogletree. He retired from auto body and repair work, and had worked in Athens for Heyward Allen and Patton and Cantrell Auto Body.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Connie Ogletree (Phil) Wiley, of Braselton, and Linda Dale Absher, of Athens; son, Stanley C. (Angela) Ogletree, of Comer; grandchildren, Brant Hargraves, Aaron Hargraves, Kyle Wiley, Nicole Absher, Denae Wiley, Ariana Absher, and Miles Ogletree; great-granddaughter, Brielle Absher; and sister, Doris Ledbetter, of Thomaston.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, at Colbert Cemetery, with the Rev. Eric Buffington officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
