James David Peebles, class of 1975

Prof. Beery was the best of the best, not only to me but to my younger brother, who graduated in the 1980s. He was always a friend, and I traded him a Marlin .22 lever action rifle for a "top-of-the-line" Brazilian-wood target bow ca. 1974, I worked for him for a long time at his business, Athens Blueprint, back in the '70s. Brilliant man, who I miss very much. Last time I saw him was a class reunion back in the late '80s or early '90s. What a talented man!
