Ronald Clements Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents William Edward and Mary Y. Clements. Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Hayes Clements, a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Eddie Norrell of Alamogordo, N. M., a son and daughter-in-law Mike and Sandy Clements of Trophy Club, TX, A daughter, Kathi Dodson, of Watkinsville, GA, and a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Mary Lee Clements of Statham, GA. Ron's grandchildren are Cambri and her husband Kenneth Johnson, Cory Norrell, Jennifer Clements, Michael and his wife Shelly Clements, Kelly and her husband Chad Moss, Will Clements and Thomas Clements. Ron was also blessed to have five great grandchildren Jeremiah Johnson, Jarod Johnson, Brady Moss, Emma Grace Moss and Coryn Norrell.
Visitation will be at Bernstein Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Bernstein Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.

hello Mrs Ruby,
I was in Colorado last year . seen Ron at the Ranch, had a nice visit .
didn't know he passed I am so sorry for your loss. I live in Hiawassee Georgia, I also visited you two in your home. I would like you to call me in Hiawassee so I can talk to you . Who was the man that flew out to Colorado and drove Ron home last year? We had a great time every year visiting at Lone Cone Ranch.

As you know, Ron was my leader, protector and pal for many years and Syl and I will always cherish his friendship. One of the proudest days of my life was when the Team selected him as an Honorary Thunderbird, an honor so well deserved. A smile comes to my face when I think of Mr. Ron. He is really flying now in heaven! He often referred to himself as an ol' fighter pilot. His fight is now over, and he truly fought a good fight!! I will miss you Mr. Ron, but I look forward to you showing me around heaven one day!

Dear Ron, We are sad to lose you but glad you are no longer in pain. You have had a wonderful life and made a lot of people happy. Wally loved going to Colorado with you. So sorry poor health prevents our making the trip to Athens to be with your wonderful family. Ruby we would love to be there. Have enjoyed our phone and email conversations; Ron was truly the only "brother" I ever had and he treated me as a sister. I will never forget the times we had together.
