Was reminiscing about my early 20s during my"first life"--which included Jaycees at local-national levels. I supported hubs#1 as he rose up that particular ladder. When he was doing State(GA) business, he was recruited by Bob to be a national director: what a ride to assist Bob in his dynamic endeavors. He chose me in '76 to ride the theme float in Portland: not because of my great beauty; it was a Snuffy Smith theme and pregnant me looked like his wife...lol. We went to Amsterdam when the Rushton Railroad ran for International Pres. It opened my eyes to how big corp worked, and how one could get their help with the right plan. I'm now in'70s now and can still hear him saying "if you want them to follow you, girl, ya better know how to lead"... And l still do. May his eternal soul be blessed for all the good he was responsible for leading so many to accomplish. And Go Dawgs...

Bob Rushton was a great Marietta, Georgia, and US Jaycee. He was an excellent example of the outstanding Jaycee Leadership Training we all experienced. Be sure to post the arrangements in this email format, so we may arrange our schedules to attend the wake and the funeral. Thank you very much. Bob Gotsch

I first met Bob in a cafe in Nashville at a convention of the U.S. Jaycees. He called me "Bubba", as he did every young man, and I have been on the Rushton Railroad ever since. He was a dynamic individual and a great example of leadership and service. It was my great pleasure to have been associated with him.
