I knew Walter as a coworker when I first came to Athens with the Cooperative Extension Service. He was a dedicated worker and always had a smile regardless of the situation.

Dear Amanda and Jessica,

I just wish to say I am sorry for your great loss. No matter one's length of life, there is left a huge void when that special loved one passes.

My husband, Ed Brown, who passed away only recently himself, worked with Walter in Extension those many years ago. Ed admired and appreciated him while considering him his good friend. Now, won't those two have some reunion!

May the good Lord comfort you and your families with His love and peace.

Sincerely, Mary Beth Brown

Dear Dad, you were the best! Thank you for raising and supporting me ... I couldn't have asked for more. I am proud to have your name. I will miss the big laughs we had but keep them and your memory close to my heart. I will love you always ... Jessica
