Luckey, Phyllis Kay (Plank) (1931-2010) succumbed to emphysema and lung cancer on October 27, 2010. She was 78. She retired from Pacific Life in Newport Beach after 26 years. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, she came to California in 1957 where she met her husband, Richard Luckey. Beloved by family and friends, she will be remembered for her sense of humor, her magnanimous generosity, and her big heart. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her son, Jeff and her daughter Kate Roberts, and three grandchildren, Conner, Jessica and Mitchell Luckey. She will be greatly missed by all. To Kay's family, we enjoyed the fellowship in honor of Kay yesterday, reminiscing about her days with Pacific Life. We will always remember her as a very hard working women with strong work ethics...but after hours, she was the life of the party with an incredible sense of humor. May you find comfort in knowing that she touched many people through out the years and we feel lucky to have known her.
