Howell Crouch Obituary

Crouch, Howell Ray, of Anaheim, CA passed away on February 9th, 2007 of cardiac arrest. He had been ill since 1996. Enlisted in the Navy as a welder on Aug. 16, 1951, Howell served until July 29, 1955. He was aboard the ships USS Atlas ARL-7 and USS Tortuga 26. He was also stationed in Guam where he enjoyed playing softball for recreation. Howell and his brother opened a building material yard, contracting, and fencing in Buena Park. On Feb. 27, 1960, Howell married Eva Cutler of Long Beach, CA at the Nazarene Church of Bellflower. They were wed nearly 47 years. Howell is survived by his wife, Eva; his son, Randall of Anaheim; his daughter, Carrie Brunner of Riverside; grandchildren, Anthony Crouch, Cody Lewis, Kathleen Brunner; his brother, Paul Crouch of Washington; sisters, Juanita Hendren of Vermont, Betty Reynolds of Texas, Elizabeth Traxel of California; 16 nephews, and 8 nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Crouch of Buena Park; brothers, Noah, Jr. of Idaho, Walter of Texas, Scott of California, and sisters, Ruth Terrell of New Mexico, Mildred Seamster of Arkansas, Thelma Bergman of California, and Mary Keelin of California. Viewing, Tuesday, February 20th 10a.m. - 9p.m. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 1p.m. at Cypress Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave Cypress, CA 714-484-2030.
