Max Halebsky Obituary

Halebsky, Max, passed away Saturday, October 16th. He was at home with his wife, Thelma, and son, Bret, by his side in Capistrano Beach. Other children are Mark, of Arvada, CO; Stephen, of Cortland, NY; and Alice, of Sultan, WA. He was born in New York City on November 22, 1923, to Fannie and Harry Halebsky and was the oldest of three children. His sister, Chifra Holt-Willis lives in Corona, CA, and his brother, Sandor, lives in Van Couver, B.C. There are four grandchildren. Mr. Halebsky fought in World War II as a radio operator in the United States Army Air Corp and was stationed in Italy. After his military service he completed his Bachelor's Degree and then worked as a Chemical Engineer in the chemical, aerospace and naval engineering fields. He went on to earn an Executive MBA at the University of California, Los Angeles. Max loved the outdoors and served as a scout master. Graveside memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, Ca .Lesneski Mortuary, 640 S. El Camino Real, San Clemente, Ca. 949/492-1717 Lesneski Mortuary
