Good Morning,

As I sit here looking at my Ethel M. Evans 1st Grade "Progress Report" card from 1961, I think back to my school year with Mrs. Engebretson. It has been about 50 years so I don't remember much, but I do remember a wonderful Lady who helped me first shape all of my years in school.
To all of Mrs. Engebretson's family, my Thoughts and Prayers are with You!

God Bless You!

I wrote an entry, but don't think I got it finished so I'll try again . . .
I had Mrs. Engebretson as my 1st grade teacher in 1964 at Evans Elementary in Garden Grove. (I only got to have her the first semester before I moved; my next teacher was not as kind.) She taught me how to read and I have fond memories of that year. I didn't get a class picture, as it was taken after I left, but I remember Randy, and the twins, Billy and Bobby Waters. I am glad to see she lived a long life. I didn't realize her roots were in MInnesota--as are many of my relatives, even in St. Cloud.
Prayers and blessings for the family and friends that are missing her. It doesn't matter how old she was, you still miss her when she's gone.
