Carol Harder Obituary

Harder, Carol Ann Laguna Niguel resident Carol Ann Harder died peacefully November 11th at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills. She had battled with lung cancer for 22 years. She was 78. She was born April 19, 1932, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated there in 1950 from West High School where she was an enthusiastic Varsity cheerleader. She met Richard Harder, Sr. there and they married to have two of their four children before relocating to the Azusa, California area in 1958. She relocated to Laguna Niguel in 1988 to live closer to her children. She worked 35 years in retail sales with Hallmark until her retirement. She was very devoted to her family and loved to spend time with her 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was always eager to be a part of any family gathering and celebrate special occasions. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Irvine. Carol is survived by her four children Rick, Linda, Karen and Jeff. Services will be held Sunday, November 28 at 2:00PM at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California.

Carol was always interested and supportive to everyone she met. She loved her family and the many people at Hallmark. She never complained and always had a kind word to say to everyone. She will be missed but not forgotten. She made the world a better place .She was an amazing woman.
