Corrine Josephine "Corrina" O'Brien

Corrine O'Brien Obituary

O'Brien, Corrine "Corrina" Josephine, was born on November 15, 1930. She passed away on October 1, 2010 at her home at Villa Rey in Culver City where she had resided for the past 6 months. Corrine moved from her hometown of Boston Massachusetts to Anaheim California in 1960, living most of her years in Orange County. Throughout her life Corrine suffered from bi-polar illness. At times this chemical imbalance robbed her of the ability to live her life as completely as she wished. She endured ups and downs, but she did not give in. She loved to be around people. Her favorite hobby was cooking for her family and friends. She often enjoyed taking a walk with a neighbor, reading the newspaper, talking to friends and family on the phone or dancing. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Pearson; son, Bill O'Brien; grandchild, Jennifer Monroe; great-grandchildren, Tony and Shawn Monroe; her brothers, Pat and Vinnie and her two favorite son-in-laws, Joe and Pete. For information regarding her memorial service, please e-mail [email protected] or call Lisa at 310-823-7719
