Darryl was a outstanding friend to all he met. I was his Sue's High school friend, Marty Kelley-Brooks. I came to his and Sue's home for a week after being invited by Sue. Darryl was very good man and opened up his home with real charm. God Bless this wonderful man.

Iwas Darryl's Friend since we met in 4th grade thrugh the 1st year of college. We were room mates at OSU. We double dated for Junior senior prom. I lived in Orange county for 17 years before returning to Springfield in 1989. I was aquainted with his cousin Marvin Wiseman and he told me that Darryl was in Orange County. If I had known when I was there, I would have tried to get in touch with him. He will be missed by many.

My grandfather was a great man, I never heard him yell, he was always welcoming and accepting. He had a smile that could light up a room. I will miss him dearly.

My grandpa was an amazing man. His love for his family was abundant! His love for Jesus was also so abundant. He was a light and you could definantly see the joy in his heart! His one ambition before he went to be with Jesus was for his family to have the same joy in their hearts. That they would experience the love and forgiveness of Chirst. I am sad that he is not here anymore but I am so excited that he is pain free and dancin' with Jesus! I love you Grandpa and someday I will be dancin' with you! Thank you for your silly jokes and you warm inviting hugs! I will always keep you in my heart!
