EARLENE DEAN Obituary
Mrs. Dean was born March 31, 1939 in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of the late William Wade Pierce and Edith Evans Pierce. She grew up in Topeka, Kansas, graduating from Topeka High School in 1957. She graduated from Kansas University in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
She was a member of the Wilshire Avenue Community Church and Chapter QG, P.E.O.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Murrel Dean; one daughter, Amy Mueller and husband, Ed of Anaheim, CA; two sons, Andrew Dean and wife, Viviana of Anaheim, CA and William Dean and his wife, Stephanie of Lake In The Hills, IL; and seven grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew, Rebecca, Nate, Amanda, Abigail and Caleb.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2014 at Wilshire Avenue Community Church in Fullerton, California. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Medical Center, Crosson Family Challenge, P.O. Box 4138, Fullerton, CA 92834. I was sorry to hear of Earlene's passing and the emptiness that your family is feeling at the present time. She was a good and faithful Christian servant that took delight in helping others always. Earlene was a good friend of the Baker family throughout the years. Her caring attitude was always appreciated with regard to our family.
May the Dean family know that my prayers and sympathy are with you now in the home going of your wife, mother, and grandmother. She is alive in Christ and inherited her rightful place in Heaven.
