I miss you John, my dear friend. I still hear your laughter and feel your wonderful kindness. The world is a more empty place without you in it. Wendy

One of the most amazing and kindest individuals I have ever had the pleasure to cross paths with... I will always remember his laugh and wonderful sence of humor... His greatest gift was his ability to love unconditionally. I think of you everyday and pray that you and Terri are holding hands in eternity.

Sean and Craig...I am so sad to hear of the loss of your Dad. He was a big part of my life for a long time and I feel lucky to have known him. His warmth, his laugh, his great sense of humor and even his ability to laugh at himself. People pass through our lives all the time, but John Curran will never be forgotten...I promise you both.

I will never forget how hard you tried to take us fishing for Sean's birthday. It did not work out the way we had hoped with the trailer hitch and all. No one can say you did not try! Our condolences go out to the your family.

When I left CA 17 years ago, along with the life I had there, I missed John most of all.
Even though I worked for him for such a very short time, I loved him for the confidence he built in me and for the trust he had in me and in my decisions and for the laughter we shared.
From the first day I met him, I felt comfortable talking with him about most things. He never acted judgmental toward me or ever belittled me for what I said or for my actions.
He made me feel like I was a part of his immediate family. As though I was, somehow, related to him, Terri, Tom, Craig, & Sean.
I respected and looked up to John, and I've dearly missed my friend for 17 years, but felt as though he'd always be there, if only I'd had his phone number or took a trip to CA. I thought he'd be there, and I could once again say hello, talk, and laugh about people we knew and about life in general.
The news of his passing has absolutely crushed me. The world, as I know it, has become a much sadder existence with the knowledge of John's departure.
My deepest sympathy goes out to Craig and Sean, as well as other family members and close friends. John will be missed!
