It's been 9 years, but somedays it feels like yesterday, like today reading what all wrote back then. I cried with each one and of course my own but Tammy's was the best had me crying and smiling at the same time. Love and miss you both Mom & Dad, but you've got each other.

Thinking of you guys and wanted to say HI. Had a scare yesterday in the Walker family and totally made me think of you guys. Life is short and we should take care of ourselves. Easier said than done but this was a wakeup call for me. Love you guys.

Today is Father's Day. Kesley sent out a post on Facebook asking what everyone was going to do today. I responded with"visit my Dad, Duh" LOL. Even though your gone Laurie and I still visited you (and Mom). Ran into Cecilia there. We all miss you guys so much. I wish that I would have known when I was younger, what it really meant to lose parents, because I would have done a lot of things differently... Love you Dad and Mom too.

I was thinking of you guys today as I drove by the cemetary. I wanted to stop but I was on my way to pick up the car (thats another story). I'm missing you both so very much, its hard sometimes to just go on without you. Some days are harder then others, but when I feel sad I just remember the good times and the many lunches and great conversations and laughter. Love you both,

Jack,It's been a long time that we have seen each other I cannot travel and you and Marion stopped traveling.
Here are a few things I remember. The last time you were here you said "I am gong to wear shorts all the time, even to church." We had a laugh about that. Then we went out and had lunch and had such a nice time with you and Marion.
I remember the time Marion and I were talking on the phone and we mentioned you. she said "he's a good one -I think I will keep him" we both laughed
Another time she told me she was going to stop driving. You took her every place with love. Another time she said she was not going to cook and you took over. She would rave about your cooking and said it was so healthy.
She said you were so good to her.She told me about a place the two of you would go once a week to eat, which she really like to do.
The time before last when I called her I felt something was wrong as she kept repeating herself etc. Then the last time I called you answered and gave the phone to Marion, she said hello and gave the phone back to you. Your voice was so strong. I told you that you sounded like a young man. You told me you had to give up golfing. We talked for a little longer and that is the last time I had contact with you.
God put you and Marion together. He knew it would be a great love story. I love you Jack for being so loveing and caring to my sister. God took her first but he could see you needed to be with the love of your life.So he answered your prayers and took you so you could be with her once again. You have been blessed, no more tears, no more pain-nothing but happeness being in each other arms again for forever.
God does answer prayer.
Siste-in-law Mildred

Grandpa Walker
The last few week with Grandpa he was in alot of pain. We did a lot of Praying.
Every day was a day to hope for the best...
To believe our many Prayers were bing heard...
To have Faith good news was on its way...
Grandpa would hold Jesus picture and pray to be with Grandma, ( his sweetheart) every day.
The last few weeks with him he reminded me about the many blessings in our lives. Like Faith , Home , Family , and the Love that keeps us close.
Thank you Grandpa for all the joy, love and goodness you shared with me in your own special way.
Like my hair that you stoked to the side of my face, The quiet times we sat holding hands, I Loved it when you said " hold me tight " and you felt safe in my arms. :)
Grandpa Jack you have a very special place in my heart,
We have shared together the BLESSINGS of God XOXO
Thank you for my Family, I love YOU
Your Granddaughter Tammy

Dad, I am sad for the loss of both you and mom so close together. However, the pain of watching you miss mom has gone into a peaceful calm. I feel a jubilation knowing you are dancing to rag time together forever and all seems right. You were a good man, a loving and providing father and most important you were a wonderful husband. The most important thing you did was love mom. God answered your prayers and took you to mom so soon because you were a devote Christian man. I know you both will be there to greet me when God sends for me. Love you both.

Grandpa, I'm so happy that you and grandma are together again for eternity. You both will be greatly missed. You were the most genuine person I have ever known. Your love for grandma showed like no other. I will never forget the way you carried grandma's lipstick, the way you serenaded grandma and most of all the way you would look at her. Your love was truley one of a kind. You are my hero and could only hope to have the love and share the love that the two of you did. Give grandma a kiss for all of us here. You both will forever be remembered in our hearts. Dance away for eternity. Love ya both grandma and grandpa.
