Laurie, you are not only a good person that will be missed dearly, your were among the top in your field. Many criminals are behind bars for the work you did and the testimony you provided. Your sense of humor kept gruesome scenes managable while still being professional. I am so gald we were able to work together and I can still see you in the Forensics File episode we did.

God Bless you,

Best of Friends

"There was no better friend, no better person so willing to give of themselves than Laurie. The contributions she made to society through her work as a forensic scientist is surpassed only by the positive impact she had on those around her. The love and kindness Laurie's showed to me and my sons after the death of my first wife, and her dear friend Mary, was a testament to the selfless individual I came to trust and rely upon. I am thankful that she was a part of my family's life and she is someone that I will truly miss."

Laurie & I use to visit when our daughters danced at Christine's dance studio in Orange. We were always waiting for their classes to be finished. We clicked because we are both from the midwest and our daughters both attended St. Paul's Lutheran School. She was a smart, lovely lady and I pray that God gives Kelci and the rest of her family the strength to endure this terrible tragedy.

No one ever worked as hard and did any finer work than Laurie as a Forensic Scientist. Many cases were solved because of her dedication. She was a pleasure to work with and will be so missed.
