Louie Boer Obituary

Boer, Louie, 96, a native of Fountain Valley and life-time resident of Orange County, passed away November 13, 2010. Louie was born and raised on a farm in Fountain Valley, graduated from Huntington Beach High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. His career as a Certified Manufacturing Engineer included employment with Douglas Aircraft, Kwikset Locks, EECO Corp, Dynatech and others. He was a lifetime member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Louie is survived by his two sons, Steven Boer of Columbus, OH and John A. Boer of Santa Ana; two grandchildren, Leah and Tim, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Emma Ingersoll and Jean Yeates and a brother, Andrew H. Boer. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Friday in Westminster Memorial Park. Brown Colonial Mortuary, Santa Ana, 714/542-3949, assisting the family. Brown Colonial Mortuary
