Dear Mary, I only met you one time at the class reunion for our 50th class reunion. Mason was in my fourth grade class when I arrived in California from Texas. I always loved the guy. He was my favorite person to compete with in finishing my math homework. His father came and took movies of us.
I went to school with him through half of our junior year in high school. I'm sure you are missing him greatly.
My sympathy is with you, your children and grandchildren. Jessie Thomas Ashby Bonds in Sanger, TX

My Mary, I so wish I was with you to give you a big hug. Mason meant allot to me, I will miss my phone calls with him. I always asked how he was and in return he always had a humble response. You are so blessed to have such wonderful kids that are with you during this time. I love you Mary and I will be in your heart and mind on this day of remembrance.

Dear Mason's Family--Mason was always part of my childhood. (Marilyn and I went to school to together from 1st grade on.) Mason was in the same class as my brother. He and his cousins were in Mom's Cub Scout Den and they spent a lot time at our house on South Cypress way back then.
I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Mary and family. My heartfelt prayers are with you as you work through this grieving process. I have known Mason since 1940, when we both entered West Orange Elementary and he was one of my best and closest friends through graduation from OUHS in 1953. Even though after that our lives went in different directions, we kept in touch and I was always proud to have him as a friend. I know now that he is in a safe and loving place, a place where you may all be reunited in an eternal family relationship with the Lord. May this journey be an easier one for you is my prayer. Mary and Family,
Mason was a classmate from 7th grade on - from the great year in Elva Chaffer's class at Intermediate. Such a gentleman, always. Mason was the teenager who always smiled and had a gracious hello for the mothers of all his friends.
