I am so sorry to hear of Mert's passing. He was a great friend to me in high school and was one of the most generous and kind persons that I have ever known. Lee, I met you once at a Poly High School reunion. Brad, I know you only through some e-mail communications. Kasey, I have not met you, however I am sure you are a wonderful person having Mert and Lee as examples in your life.
My thoughts are with all of you during this time of sorrow.
To my good friend Mert........

The sport has lost one of the original Good Guys! Mert was there for everyone of our milestones - first qualifying, first 5.9 and even first time we shredded one of his blowers! Things will not be the same.

The memorial service will be a party hosted next to Littlefield Blowers at 1110 E. Kimberly Ave., Anaheim, CA, 92801 at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2. I am fortunate to have been raised by such a hardworking, well-respected man who was so humble, dedicated, and willing to help others. I'm going to miss you, Dad.
