Nancy Boone Obituary

Boone, Nancy Lerner, born May 13, 1951, passed away peacefully October 4, surrounded by her husband, James, the love of her life; her sister, Joan and mother, Marian Lerner after a long and courageous fight against lymphoma, which she battled with great courage. Nancy was a graduate of Millikan High School, CSULB and Pepperdine University and worked for many years as a manager of the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Human Services for the City of Anaheim. She was past president of the California Parks and Recreation Society and was well loved and repected in her profession. After a storybook wedding in Paris, Nancy and James enjoyed many European trips, in which they were joined by Nancy's sister Joan and James' brother, Reg, on several occasions, Tuscany being one of their favorites spots. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society or the American Cancer Society. Interment private.
