I just returned to worked after an absence only to hear of the news of Purnell's homecoming. As I read the notice, a great sense of sadness started to overcome me until my memories of him made me smile. A good man, a just man, who believed in doing the right thing and shared this with us who worked with and for him. He loved his family and we often shared in our family stories. Heaven is a little bit richer with this man's homecoming. Well done, good and faithful servant, well done indeed!

A wonderful gentleman and a great co-worker. So many memories of the situations and 'guff ' we shared while working the midnight shift at the Post Office. He was a good friend to so many in his quiet way. Condolences to everyone who loved this man.
