VIRGINIA STILLINGS Obituary

Stillings, Virginia Adams, 97, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at home surrounded by family. Born in Santa Ana, a third generation Orange County native, Virginia was predeceased by husband, Wayne Stillings, and her two sons, Jerry and Phil. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Alford of Tustin. She was devoted to her nine grandchildren and became a second mother to three of them after she reached the age of 65. Her fourteen great grandchildren were her treasures. She was a member of Tustin Presbyterian Church, White Shrine, and Eastern Star. She played and taught classical piano, worked at Kerr Glass, and was a homemaker, providing a role model for her family. She was loyal, faithful, hard working, and generous. Love of family, love of music, and love of God sustained her throughout her life. "Love....bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things"...Her legacy lives on. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday.
