Jim sounds like a great guy. I wish we would of had the opportunity to me him, God had other needs for him. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers often, Joyce. May you find strength in the days to come to go on and hope to meet sometime in the near future as was planned last fall.

We loved the times we got to RV with Jim and you, Jim helped us learn about our RV ...we are going to miss doing more as we know you are too.

Jim was the kindest man. He treated everyone with kindness, respect and understanding. No one was any less in his book. All who had caring and kindness in their heart were special and loved by Jim.
The world is better to have had him among us, and lesser to be missing him now.

My deepest sympathy to Jim's family. The West's lived next door to my family when I was a child. I bought the West's former house and have been living here for 28 years now. As I look around our home I can see Jim everywhere. I especially remember him working in his garage. He was often out there building and repairing things. My brother, Ken, was particularly close to Jim. I remember Ken helping Jim build and paint a fence once. My parents Pat and Ken Cox were close to them also. Jim was a great neighbor. I played with Kathy when I was a kid and we had a lot of fun. Although I haven't seen any of them in years I think of them often with fond memories.
