FREDERICK BEDLE Obituary
FREDERICK LESLIE, Fred was born on April 1, 1921 in Highlands, NJ and passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at his home in Longwood, FL. Fred was a combat pilot in the United States Air Force and was extremely proud of having served our country in both World War II and Korea. In World II he piloted a B-24 bomber (known as the Liberator) and flew 45 missions over Germany. In the Korean Conflict he piloted a fighter jet and flew 105 missions. He was a career officer and served on active duty both in the Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force for a combined total of 22 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marie; and his daughter Dianne. He leaves behind his daughter Marcie Hugo and her husband Bryan; and his two grandchildren, Jennifer and Kathleen. Fred and Marie will be buried together at Bushnell at a date yet to be determined.
