BAUGHMAN, JACQUELYN L.
A dear Mother, devoted wife and steadfast friend, departed from us on Dec. 21, 2012. "Jacque" was born in St. Petersburg, FL., July 13, 1929. She married young, bearing 2 children, Linda "Lee" and Jack William. Divorced in the early 50's, she moved to Miami, FL., and worked as a waitress and dental assistant. In 1959 she met and married Jonas (Jay) B. Baughman III, divorced father of daughter,
Carol Lynn. Soon after, they moved to West Palm Beach, FL. Jacque's resume included: Homemaker; Bookkeeper/Secretary; and Dental Assistant. A career in banking started as a Teller; Auditor's assistant; then Assistant VP of the Bank of Palm Beach and eventually, Assistant VP at First Marine Bank of WPB. She was a member of the Dental Assistants of Palm Beach County and an officer for Palm Beach chapter of American Institute of Banking. They relocated in 1980 to Mt. Dora, FL., where she worked at Florida National Bank of Tavares, FL as Assistant VP. In 1986 they started Custom Closets of Lake County. Jacque was also a member of the Anna Miller Society; Garden Club of Lake County; and volunteered for Hospice. She is survived by husband, Jay
Baughman; brother, Frank Cole; son, Jack Baughman and daughters, Lee Mowers and Carol Ward; grandsons, Chris Mowers, Marcus Baughman and Matthew
Baughman and 4 great-grandsons. Memorial services will be held at Hamlin and Hilbish, 326 E. Orange Ave., Eustis, FL. 32726 on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, or Cornerstone Hospice.
