Marie Durrett Obituary

DURRETT, MARIE ANTOINETTE "ANN" 89, passed away June 18, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. Ann was born October 13, 1920 in Lynchville, Kentucky and was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Huntington, WV. Prior to dedicating her life to raising her children she worked as a Registered nurse for the county in Huntington, WV. She enjoyed gardening, the ocean and camping. Ann was a military wife and always made her family a "home" in every house they re-located to. She is survived by her children, Bill Durrett (Bren) of Auburn, GA., and Lynn Walton and Barbara Atkinson both of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Brian Marcotte, Nicholas Durrett. Scott Atkinson, Lindsey Durrett, and Catherine
Guidrey; great grandchildren, Ann Marie and Aubrey Guidrey; and a sister, Betty Jean Meace. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 yrs, Bill Durrett and two grandsons, Brent Durrett and David Marcotte. A Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, June 23 at 2 p.m. at the Baldwin Fairchild Pine Castle Chapel. Arrangements are being handled by BALDWIN
