Jacquelin Felicia Fader

FADER, JACQUELIN (JACQUE) FELICIA, 80, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 in Tulsa, OK. She was born September 22, 1930 in Springfield, IL to Bertha and William Rudat and grew up in Bloomington, IL where she attended Trinity Lutheran School, graduated from Bloomington High School and in 1951 received her RN degree from Mennonite Hospital School of Nursing, now the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. Jacque married the love of her life, William Fader, on September 6, 1952 in Bloomington, Illinois. They moved to Florida in 1953 where they raised their family. In 1982 they moved to Tulsa to begin a new chapter in their lives. Jacque was involved in Christian Women's Club, Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, the Soup Kitchen at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was the volunteer coordinator for the Ronald McDonald House of Tulsa for many years. Service to God and others was an important part of her life, touching the hearts of many people through her devotion to God and community. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother were her proudest accomplishments. Her infectious smile was the bright spot of everybody's day. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward, of Bloomington. She is survived by her husband, Bill; sister, Eloise Campbell of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two sons, William and wife Carmen of Corpus Christi, TX; Philip and wife Undine of Willis, TX; and daughter, Leisa Burton and husband, Pat of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren, Ericca, Melissa, Jackie, Will, Hannah, and Ellen. The family wishes to give special thanks to Oxford HealthCare, as well as caring friends, neighbors, and members of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church for their loving kindness and support of Jacque over the last several years.
