Jean U. Blair

BLAIR, JEAN U., born in Pueblo, Colorado, went home to Jesus July 17, 2011. She was married to SMSgt Harry E. Blair (retired) from 1943 to his death in 1997. She was a devoted and loving mother to son Harry Eugene Blair, Jr. (1944-1997) and daughter Leslie Gwen Blair. Being a military wife, she traveled the U.S., giving her the opportunity to meet lots of friends and see the country. Jeanie was a Gold Star Mother and member of Conway United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, JoAnne Circle and the Blanket Ministry. Jeanie was very creative; she was an accomplished artist and seamstress. She and her husband enjoyed boating for many years, and they both served in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Jeanie loved to laugh, travel and meet new people. Jeanie never met a stranger in her life; she greeted everyone with a smile. She especially loved the ladies and sewing she did for the Blanket Ministry. Jeanie loved her family and her Lord. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and friends. Graveside services will be July 20, 2011 at 11 AM, Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, Florida.
