My name is Leisa knight and I am a LA fitness Instructor also. I didn't know Judy personally, but I new her passing between clubs. I took her spinning classes at Windermere, fantastic instructor. I was in shock this week when found out about her passing . My thoughts go out to her family and friends. RIP Judy.

You will always have a special place in our hearts. You were kind, compassionate, patient, and understanding. You understood my injuries and never held it against me. You took the time to explain things to me so you knew with out a doubt I understood them. Always being so positive telling us it will work out and you would do what ever you could to help. Always going above and beyond. Sending me pictures of you smiling with thumbs up. I will miss our conversations and exchanging of pictures. You teasing us that it's warm where you are and you're floating in your pool while we are buried with 7 feet of snow. I went to go call you to tell you the good news, and give you updates like I always do but you weren't there. It made me sad because it still hasn't set in. Then I realized it was you, working your magic and somehow you all ready knew because you are watching over us. But it still hurts that your Husband, Family, Friends, and the world lost such an amazing person.

Me: "Judy, Judy, Judy" And her responding with that wonderful, beaming smile. Heights High memories of Judy, Years later, when I started FB, we could exchange messages as long as little short stories. Gorgeous and most kind. A great tragedy and terrible loss. My condolences to her husband, John, brother Robert and to the rest of her family and loved ones.

Our hearts are broken back here in Coral Springs/Parkland FL where Judy taught the best spin class at our L.A. Fitness gym.
I remember when Judy first moved here from Colorado and introduced herself. She was the most positive, energetic, kind and beautiful person. Her class was always in high demand.
We bonded over our love for the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning. We watched the Superbowl together and as the Broncos got mightily defeated, we vowed they would come back another year for a victory. Although Judy and John had moved to Orlando, we texted throughout the next Super Bowl the Broncos played in and celebrated together via texting over their win. Judy, your spirit and zest for life will be greatly missed. John, everyone back here is thinking of you and praying for you. Our hearts are so heavy as we all grieve this great loss. Judy, my friend, you are so loved and will be in our hearts forever.

The Cycling Logistics family will miss Judy terribly. She always sought us out when it came to cross-state rides we were present at and at Camp John Hope where she and John sometimes did as much work as riding. We should all follow her mantra - GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND EXPERIENCE LIFE!

I knew Judy in junior high school in Cleveland Heights OH, what a great time we had with a great bunch of friends as teenagers. Some 34 years later we reconnected at the 30th reunion of CHHS in 2003. We had fun that weekend and we started to keep in touch through Facebook. Judy always was kind and allqways positive. She was a shinning light to her friends. JB my prayers to you and family for your loss. Take comfort that many loved Judy and we mourne with you. Judy we will all miss your sunshine. Now you get to cycle in Heaven.

My heart just breaks for Judy's family. She was the BEST spin instructor - EVER!!! She was patient, kind, and most of all motivating. I always wanted to add on one-more-gear in her class, even at the end of class. I always looked forward to her classes. I never told her - but she was my inspiration. May you be riding in the clouds in heaven Judy - looking over all your loved ones. You will be greatly missed. XXOO Mel

I was shocked and saddened to hear of this. Like one of the other ladies who has already commented, I attended Judy's fitness classes. I had only gone since January and in that short time, I was taken with her kindness, patience, guidance, help and support. She was a fantastic instructor. I want her family to know that she had a positive impact on all of the people who attended her classes, and I will never forget her for that. She even gave me one of her hair ties one time because I had forgotten mine and my hair was falling all over my face. She was kind enough to go to the trouble to help me. I was awaiting her return this week, and couldn't go because I was so upset. I will go again in time, and think of her. I am thinking about all of Judy's family, and I send you my love and sincerest condolences. I want so badly to go to the service on Saturday, but I fly to the UK on Friday. I am sad to miss it, but will be thinking of you all on Saturday from across the pond. I will miss you Judy. Love to all.

My sincere condolences to Judy's family. Judy was a fantastic fitness instructor. I had only taken her Body Plus Abs class for 8 months but always looked forward to her guidance and enthusiasm. I am heartbroken that she was taken from us and pray that her love and zest for life will give strength to all those who loved her. RIP Judy

Although I haven't seen Judy in over 30 years, she has left such a positive impact on my life. I first met Judy when she just started teaching aerobics back in the 1980's. She was this tiny woman but boy was she full of spirit and energy and enthusiasm! I just loved her and loved taking her classes! She was fully committed to life, and once she made her mind up to do something, she did it. When she made the decision to move to Colorado, I went with her for the drive. She drove the whole 41 hours non-stop! Judy was a beautiful soul, and I will miss her dearly until we meet again. Take care, my friend.
