I was distressed to learn of Mr. McPherson's passing. His military example greatly influenced me as I became an infantry officer who served in Vietnam. His advice to me during my high school years was invaluable. I will always treasure my friendship with the McPherson family. I send them my condolences with great affection. Chuck Grist
