This wonderful man didn't know me, but offered his time to help me as a disabled veteran woman who needed help with a nuisance noise situation. I wanted to contact him today, only to find his obituary. I was shocked and saddened. I will never forget his thoughtfulness.

I took care of Chris in the Hematology/Oncology clinic at Arnold Palmer Hospital. Such a wonderful young man. We have not seen him in years, but its obvious he was busy doing wonderful things with his life. What a loss for us here on earth. My condolences to his family.

Chris, we go back to the good ole days of Keeth Elementary. My son wears my t-shirt that you and several other of our friends signed. We had a lot of fun and I still remember going to sea camp with you in the Florida Keys. The fact that we were friends and able to work together in our careers is a blessing. Your passion for the environment has been motivational for many, I know it has been so for me. I'll remember you always. Love you. See you on the other side.

I met Chris through the Environmental and Land Use Law Section Executive Council. His passionate defense and love of Florida's environment, his integrity, and his brilliant mind will be sorely missed. But even more, we will miss that smile that could light up any room, that goofiness that could make anyone laugh, and that absolute joy in living life to the fullest. My deepest condolences to his parents, his partner, and his sisters. Fly high, Byrdman!

I never met Chris face-to-face while working with him on the phone as legal council at FDEP, but he was a fighter, very kind, and really cared about our fragile environment. Thank you for your work Chris and may you and your family be at peace.

I am blessed to have known Christopher for three years. He was a joyful soldier for Mother Nature despite his own personal struggle with Fanconi Anemia. Love to Christopher's family. He is a magnificent individual.

He was a very nice, down to earth, positive guy. They say the good die young, and in this case that is true
