COFFMAN, THEODORE, May 2, 1921 - July 3, 2012, Theodore
Coffman, "Teddy," 91, of Clermont, Fl, passed away in St. Augustine, Fl., July 3, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Coffman. He is survived by his sons, James, Anthony, Nick, and Chris Coffman and George Doukas; his daughter; Paulette (Coffman) Yiambilis; grandchildren, Nick Yiambilis,
Taylor, Tanner, Tucker and Trevor Coffman; great-grandchildren,
Alexandra Yiambilis. Teddy was inducted into the United States Army on December 30, 1942, and was Honorably Discharged on November 9, 1945. Staff Sergeant
Coffman served in Luzon, the southern Philippines and New Guinea, and was awarded the American Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, Philippines Liberation Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and was a Bronze Star recipient. He was a restaurateur and instrumental in starting the Long Island, Nassau, Suffolk Dining Car Restaurant Association. Later in life he donated much of his time in organizing and cooking for numerous Greek churches, fund raisers, charitable events and club outings. His tireless dedication to the community and friends will be missed. Arrangements by Gary Panoch
