He pretended to be Steve Spurrier when he offered me my first job right out of law school. We had spent half of the interview talking about Gator football. Over the years we had our ups and we had our downs. You might even call me the red-headed step-child but family is still family! Norm will be sorely missed :(...

R.I.P. Norm.....sadness fills our hearts for your family. Our "class clown" was a true Warrior at Wilson, a true Veteran warrior,a champion warrior for mankind, especially children, and he fought his disease like a true warrior. You will be missed my friend and classmate.

Janie, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Words can not describe the impact Norm had on so many people. Always smiling, upbeat, and making everyone feel special. Norm will not be forgotten, because he left behind many memories of a man who loved life and shared that love with others. Rest in peace Norm, you will be missed by many.

When I think of past Apollo Elementary volunteers , the Wolfinger's come to mind. Norm and Doug Barimo would dress up and pass out candy and read to and encourage children. What a wonderful person who will surely be remembered. May God give his family peace and comfort during this time of great sorrow.

Philippians: I think God every time I remember you. Blessings to you Jane and the family. Norm changed the course of my life when he brought me to work for the state attorneys office in 2000. I am ever so grateful to him in the experiences I had . He kept every promise he ever made to me and it meant so much to work with someone with such integrity. I am blessed for having met him. heartbroken. Prayers are being lifted up.

Norman was a fun loving close friend. He was always a joy to be around and I wished that he had lived closer so that we could have spent more time together. He was a special buddy who will be forever missed by all of us Wilson Warriors. When I saw Norman at his Induction ceremony into the WHS Hall of Fame, I was so glad to see he had that same sense of humor that I enjoyed all through our high school years. My sympathy to Jane and the family.
