Surely he walked with God, and knew not that his face shone...He was my father, my friend. Three days before his death, I read the Eulogy that I shall give on January 5th, and told him how much I loved him and said good-bye.

Dear Ruth and Family,
Art was an inspirational part of our lives, as were you, Ruth. We appreciated his profound faith, humor and wisdom and we were honored by his presence. You and he are grand moments in our Church history. Please know than we continue to love and honor your talents and gifts to us and at this moment, we know we are better Christians for having known you.
Love to you sweet Ruth, and family,
Connie and David Van Asdale
